Mate i looked and considered VN's when i was hunting for my first VL 6 years ago, at the time, VL's fetched more money and it was impossible to find a neat clean reasonably priced VN. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Looks like a job for Myth busters to me. My vl is rust free. Its easy to say that oh all vl's rust. Of course they fu5ken do. All cars will evently. If you live on the coast the salt air will cause it to happen more quickly. So if I have a vl it must have rust in it? So all those Walky owners must be pretty upset then?

My VL doesn't have any rust that I can find, how many blue and silver VN's do you see driving around with rusted roofs? the paint fades away to a nice shade of rust, I haven't seen that on too many VL's. VL's also don't rattle to pieces when you turn the key.
