You'd be incredibly stupid to dye the red dash mate, their pretty well sought after by those that love the red interior! Get a dash from the wreckers and dye that I say. But to answer your question, I don't see why not. As I said, mine was originally blue. After 2 coats no blue showed through at all. I never realised how **** my Calais door skins looked untill I saw that photo. Time to retrim them darker I think...

to put fires out maybe? never seen a car catch fire? My neighbour's LX torri went up in flames after a fuel pressure regulator failed and dripped fuel onto the engine. When he pulled up at the lights there was a slight hill, fuel ran down to the exhaust and BOOM!!! Got out with the help of his trusty fire extinguisher! Saved the car from being written off, him from being burnt & after a quick respray and rewiring the engine bay, she was back on the road. I'll be running one in my new baby! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

It was $30 and I'm sure as hell not gonna sit back and watch the f**ker burn if she goes up in flames! It's also a CAMS requirement, so it's one less item to add to the shopping list when I eventually take it for a squirt around the track. Can I ask why you have a fire engine? I regularly check it and give it a good shake to prevent the powder clumping together. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

has anybody sprayed there factory blue interior? what is the colour to match factory? or if not exact very close to factory?

Yer NTMID 8, Sprayed factory blue interior fully, did not match the factory colour as it was a bright white. Removed everything (guy's, took me 15min to remove dash, including the air-cond, beat that!!!!!) cleaned the parts, easy to spray on (3-4 coats as previously said in a smooth sweeping motion) and no blue showed through what so ever.

uhh guys if i were u i wouldnt dye the seats black.. i did it, it looked mint for a while, and then after friction and wear and tear it starts to fade.. which isnt really the problem.. the problem is the velour doesnt seem to like the dye, so they were rough like sandpaper for ages.. until they softened up.. problem was, as they softened up, the colour faded lol. so i just stuck black seat covers on em. im in the process of stripping the dye and starting again lol
