20-11-06, 14:48 GMT+10#21 Supply and demand is what it is about.
If some1 wants something bad enough, then they can pay whatever they want.
And with the seller, well they pretty much own the plates so they can put what ever price they want, it might be a high price to some...but that is just bad luck.
They might not ever sell at that price, so the seller if they want to sell will have to drop there price......It's simple.
I don't see the problem, unless I want a plate that I cannot afford.

20-12-06, 16:36 GMT+10#30 i think the price some plates are a joke. in sa you cant sell personalised plates.... only the rights to them. My sister-in-laws m8 offered me $800 for my plates (NTMID8) but i didnt buy them to sell them. There are some very clever plates out there though.

Ive also heard of people saying 'Yeah i know somebody who got 'OFFERED' 2000$ for there plates'
Its always 'OFFERED' why doesnt somebody just rip out $2000 and see how the tables change..
I was offered 600bux for my plates i then said sure there yours.. Took the bloke 2weeks to get together a $100 deposit as he was always 'strapped for cash bro'
