First car mag i ever bought was that issure of SC. Had a very nice gold vl turbo in there as well was inspriation that car for me to buy a vl turbo and is still one of my favourite vl's ITs a rose grey calais series 2 with simmons fr18's mods. rb30et curstom fuel rail, el falcon throttle body, 700hpo injectors, micks metalcraft plenum,to4-r turbo, external wastegate, el falcon coil, microtech mtx-8 power-418rwhp gearbox- jadco trans, dominator pro comp 4000rpm stall convertor, custom valve body, stage 3 shift kit. diff- vl turbo 3.79lsd At time of issue the car had run a 11.3 @118mph on 21psi. This was done on pump fuel. At the end of the issue there is mention of a race motor, 3 speed gearbox and a transbrake. I have not seen the car since the mag which is from 2001.

You are 100% percent right,I also too still have that mag and the car is Rose Grey and all imformation you have written is correct,I have the article in front of me now...What a car that was.....You forgot that it had Alpine tv in it.lol ..I loved this car...and will always be one to rember...
