VL's dizzy is made by Bosch and the R31's is made by Mitsuba or Mitsubishi

If you think ur beyond this thread, then go and read something more along your lines, like the how to put air in your tyre thread Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

If you pull on the lead itself you can pull it out of the boot. The other day we were changing my friend's plugs and when we pulled one of the leads using the boot part itself the boot part and the head of the lead came apart. What would happen if you push the head of the lead against the boot part of the lead again? Would it be the same or is it time for a new lead? If it is time to get a new lead what are the best for an N/A? Cheers

I got them off here, a new set for $50. I don't believe plug leads offer much better performance at all on any car. The reason people rate them is cause their old ones were "old" and the new set could have been factory and would have improved etc.

I went to supercheap and asked for VL RB30 spark plugs and they gave me NGK ones that say BKR6E on them. Not knowing that these were incorrect I installed them. drove it and it shudderd. I thought the shuddering was from something else, I un-done them and the plastic was cracked. Luckily nothing fell into the holes. Where these incorrect spark plugs? are these for n/a's or are they completly wrong?

The only standard ones you should use are NGK BCPR6ES-11 both turbo or NA. any other BKRXXXXXXXX etc is WRONG!

Hey, I've tried everything and....is it just me or does plug #4 stick out further than the rest? I've compared all of them but some reason plug 4 seems to extend further out. i was replacing my leads on the weekend and since the swap i keep getting a big miss! I also tried taking the plug out and replacing it but it still sticks out. Is that the way it's meant to be or am i doing something wrong? Much help appreciated. Cheers

magnetic spark plug socket are great and also a little bit of copper grease around the thread of the plug

Hey, yeah i always use a lil bit of grease around the threads to facilitate tightening. It's the miss i'm concerned about. Ever since i replaced the leads the problem's been persisting but why?? I didn't even do anything. I mean i'm always careful and stuff, as far as i'm concerned i didn't knock anything while installing leads Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
