my vl sl has AC and PS, i though it was a exec when my dad drove it home when he got it back in 1989. from the id it is a SL and from the papers they were not option add ons it was like that off the factory floor.

My car is exactly the same as that. AC/PS/AUTO and its an SL. They arent that rare..... But I must say welcome to the silver side! Best thing about silver is it always looks neat and tidy! Probably not a good thing if your going bling factor, but if you want something to look really neat and really tidy without it sticking out like dogs balls silver is the way to go. Nice work on the car tho. Looks like its only been recently sprayed tho? Then again the silver is always deceptive

Yeah all the execs I have seen have an SL badge on the dash. the black door handles give it away as an SL tho Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

black door handles are s2, my sl is a s1 and has chrome door handles (and white inserts as part of the formula thing)
