the equipment alone is $1100 or so as it says on their site... installation add on another 1500 or so thats where the price comes from.. this is basic, not really a performance system.

No idea if you have some of the setup, but I was quoted $4k for my EFI 5L to be converted to straight gas.
I should really keep her

Do you know if they are gona put the gas tank in the boot or underneath the car for your v8. Coz thinking of doing that for the old mans vp ss. How about vlt straight gas systems, does anyone know where the gas tank is fitted

My biggest beef with Gas is having it in the boot. If they could devise a way of putting the tank underneath without any cutting that would be very useful.

but thats a tray back ute no? I dont think you can do it to a sedan.... I know they have a donut for a VL. But yes they need to design something to replace the standard fuel tank.....

That I would like to see how you have done..... I would do gas and turbo conversion all in one hit.

if your running a straight gas setup they can remove the fuel tank and put a "scuba" tank under the back. it looks like three O2 tanks welded together. and for that extra tank room you can have the normal one in the boot but a smaller size.

would it not be easier to get rid of the fuel system totally and run straight gas or is it more complicated than just leaving the fuel system there?
i'd be keen on my 31 if it were possible to replace the entire fuel system and run straight gas...

i know that GRA removes your fuel system upon request and put blanking plugs in your manifold where your injectors used to be.

For those guys who have tanks under their VLs replacing the old fuel tank (straight gas conversion) - can you post the make / model of the tank? Or anyone else that knows any models that can fit under there (ie the "scuba" tank lowbstvl mentioned). Don't wanna have to move my sub and waste more boot space.
Tried searching for make/model info for tanks but nothing specific for fitting under a car. Don't mind having to make some cuts etc.
Got someone to do the conversion, just need to know the best tank. Problem over in Perth is that with $3k up for grabs, every man and his dog is ringing up the gas places. All the big ads in the yellow pages were engaged all day yesterday. Just got in contact with one this morning - had 264 calls yesterday and their waiting list is out to mid next year i sh*t you not.
