Wellsy don't bother unless you spend 2 - 3 k minimum. All these guys saying 1000 are full of sh** unless they have very good mates and even then they are skimping on materials. Many shops wont touch resprays as they make more from insurance and private smash repair work and a lot of it depends on the attitude of the customer and how realistic they are. The guy who painted mine has done a few cheap blow overs for people and when they come to pick them up they sook and bitch that it isn't perfect. Thats why many won't bother unless you have a realistic customer. And to those who say it's a stock color I laugh at you. It can be a solid, a base, a metallic, a pearl and a stock color can be any of these and the materials all differ in price and quality. Unfortunately for you Wellsy you have a color that is more difficult to paint than most!

Mine Respray was $3500. -Cut out rust below front and rear windows and welded new metal piece back in -Remove all bumpers and respray original colour -Rub back the whole car and respray in original colour -Supply and fit new windscreen -Fix small dents -This was done at a paint shop and took 3-4 weeks. -All done properly in a baking oven Very happy with the result. I have one small run mark below the rear door handle (if you look close enough) and some overspray on the drivers door but have seen buffed it out. PS Tell him/her that you will pay cash

a good mate of mine quoted me $1500 for a closed door spray, all they do is rip out the windows take off the bars and lights and mask it up and spray away. that price also includes me helping with the prep work. he said for anyone else off the sreet for that basic job would cost round the 2.5k mark. he also supplies all materials.
