Hate to tell u this fellas but if a ticket is written down wrong or missing info they rewrite them. Trust me ive tried to get out of many a ticket that way. As for the topic question, they must follow you and maintain a speed with you not pulling away or them gaining on you for a period of 250 meters under 100 and 500 meters over 100. Once they have done that and both occupents of the police vechile have acknowledged your speed they can then pull you over and bust you for it. I got done for doing 65 in a 50, my speedo said i was doing 58 which i admitted to, got my speedo checked and its right, but i still got slugged with the fine and demerit points for it.

lol my brother had the same thing happen to him last night on his bike cop goes what were u thinking? u were going 150 in a 80 zone told him he'd knock it back so he wouldn't lose his licence. he got a good cop but it proves they are just pulling **** out of his arse if he can make up any speed he wishes

The ticket is only worth $150, and I could easily spend that on a solicitor. It's not worth it for me to pay to overturn it, I'm not going to lose my license from it. I'll just write a few letters, submit a few forms, make a general nuisance of myself and then probably will have to pay anyway.

Just go to the local station and see what they have to say, cant hurt or cost you anything. Be honest and friendly and they may just tear it up for you. BTW, i'd drive the misses little lazer there too.
