16.1 @85mph. Most brissy boys saw it and I have it on video. It looks real slow because it is.

Yea i'm fairly sure - the shift from first to second is fairly hard in my car as im running a HD clutch and its a monster of a clutch once the revs are up - if i can break it in the dry with my 235 pirelli p zero neros in the street - doing it on 205 stokies is no problem - it wasnt like it was for the whole lenght of the strip - just made me back off untill i get traction back I'll scan my time slip and post

gen 3's arent quick they dont start pullin away until about 80-100km'h. but when they do start pullin they are out of there. and pretty sure i never said i beat one. said it didnt beat me by much. obviously if we just held it flat for ages it would be out of there. lets put it this way. ever since i put the custom 1pc tailshaft in my car that i bought off gopsy its been alot quicker. although i cant race stop start because it just a pointless way of wasting tyres. by the time you get traction they are already 3 cars infront of you. hence why n/a manuals are better at the track.

since when have ls1s not pulled till 80ks :S

lol and since when have n/a vl's "struggled for traction" lol come on boy, a few seconds of semi single spinning is not "stuggling for traction". And GEN3 SS's pull very hard all the time, ESPECIALLY over 80kms, there is no way in hell a stock vlt would keep up with one at all let alone a non turbo one.

thats right jack, boys, struggling for traction is easing on 360rwhp at 90ks and frying the rears... remember those times jack :P Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Sorry if your not but i said stock not a vlt running a larger (highflowed) turbo and twice the amount of boost as stock (12psi). Ahah yeah Brad that was one very, very cool car. PS should have sold it to me Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

I Gtech'd my ****ter VL for a laugh and got a 16.7 out of it.. stock auto nugget.. i know its a gtech but it seems pretty close to the money.. I dead set cant believe some of the **** people say... keeping up to a gen III ss to 100kays.. hmm. so N/A vls now run mid to low 6secs 0-100 times i guess now. The ways you are talking about traction issues in second gear, traction issues aint a quick chirp. I owned a Skyline 5 speed, good condition, and thats all it ever did. Chirp second with a flat change. It used to struggle for traction in first ........ if you limiter dumped it and stood on the brake. Also, it would have never had a Gen III.. not even to 10kays an hour.. and would have had its ass handed to it over a 1/4.

haha . ok i was just going to leave this as is. sorry 2legger but how fast do you think a ****ing gen III runs the 1/4 ?? because they really arent that quick at all. 14's for a 5.7L is shocking

There's nothing shocking at all about a time like that, they're a heavy as car for starters .......

De-tuned aswelll. An LS1 with an exhaust and tune is way way way quicker

14's is not that slow for a manual car

14's might seem slow, but add the usual mods to a GenIII and 12's aren't that hard.
