well ive had the charger on for about 3 weeks now. happy to say that after a bit of stuffing around it actually goes on quite easy. and the improvement in power is heaps more than i had expected. im gonna run it on the dyno soon and see how it goes. here are some pics of it in. and the bracket made for the powersteering all taken on my phone but the bad 1's are at night

o well.doesnt really matter all that much.thanks anyway how much boost was yours running?

mine on a good night was running 10-11

where's the idle air bypass hose now?

and if you are running 10-11 psi, you should really have a cooler, and extractors would really boost the power on a charger

gone idle is controlled by the screw on throttle body yer i hope to have my new extractors and hi flow cat on next week. cooler will be later on.

For that sort of price it would probably be easier to buy a complete turbo setup and get fitted on. I wonder what would make more hp on same boost levels.

ah i see. is it stable all the time with no computer controlling it?

the tb is moved infront of the intake, you can see it in the second pic, accelerator cable is on a backet at the base of the pod. and the idle is stable, i had holden adjust the idle with that little screw. im going to adjust it a little more as it sits on 1000rpm when warm. also i think that it will be a fair bit more than 110 rwkw. that will be shown when i get it on the dyno.

I had all the gear.. VLT injectors. VLT computer. Extractors, 2.5" zoost, one muffler. idle by pass valve. Blow through not drew throught. custom made SC cam (for sale also..) 88mm front pully, 160mm drive. 6PK belt. blower was up the right way. custom powersteering. Somthing like that kit but not that good as it was just a concept.. Front mount intercooler. AFM in cooler piping. I forget what else.. everything i could, i did.. here is pic for them who have not seen it.. NOTE mate! the TB befor the blower is the worst way to ever do it, But the cheapest.. It will run 300% cooler and 100times better with the TB in the stock spot, a boost by pass on idle valve and AFM in piping..

the powersteering bracket was done by a engineer.made it up himself. as for the tb, it was put were the instructions told me to put it. ill have to look into putting it back. have you got any pictures of it in your car? just to give me a bit of an idea. thanks for the help tho

they put the TB there becuase its cheaper.. they are not doing it to work.. they have sold it to you now.. they dont care if it works or there is a better way.. My powerhouse now.. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

i will definetly be looking in2 it. how much of a difference did the cooler make?

i dont know.. Never had it with out the cooler... But i did alot do another SCed VL.. it was non cooled but only on 3 PSI.. it was ok.. But 10 with a cooler had some go..

it has a heap of go atm. looking into the cooler.how hard is it to put the tb were u stated.and were can i get this boost bypass valve?

I used a turbo external wastegate and modded it to work as a supercharger bypass.. It was loud on idle but didnt make the cement mixer on idle.. just made a air rushing sound. and once on boost when i backed off it would be like a big BOV.. made the car and blower so much cooler. Can you put your hand on the blower after 20min of driving? WITH out melting it off? I could.. with ease..

havent tried but even when giving it heaps it only runs a little warmer than before i had it. have you got any pics or instructions on how to make this bypass. id be really interested 2 try it.

well.. you need a by pass valve, You can get them from CAPA or make one from a wasge gate. Then put that in your piping.. Then put your AFM in your pipingcloser to the TB then the valve. but not closer then your idle air pipe. plug vac to the top and off you go...
