The crowns are hard anodised, the same thing they do to top fueller pistons
I have had them in all my motors(not just rb's), and run 23-24psi in them for
a pump fuel street tune in both setups. 378rwkw so far in the rb30 for street tune, going to lean on it harder soon and try for around 420rwkw.
cheers

Just wondering on your opinions of these pistons for a rb30det bottom end and a supply up here in QLD
I want to build a bottom end be able to handle 250rwkw-300rwkw with these pistons and would the standard rods shot peened be strong enough for this power figure
All opinions welcome and Appreciated
Hey boys I have forgies in mine but rods are standard, not shot peened, dont hold me to that though and im making 320rwkw. Is this a brand name or a manufacturing style name? What are these trhings rated to?

right on with that dude the diffrence between cast and forged pistons is with forged pistons you cry twice as much if they break..... ya dont need a good tuner ya need a top tuner.... try this one of my old cars 265 hemi To4 14psi mdified 830 holly made 292hp@wheels with one tuner 2 weeks later diffrent guy 377hp@wheels same boost just more switched on than the other

"hypatec" is a brand name, the type of pistons are hyperuretic (i think its spelt right) and i thought they were ceramic coated??? if i had of known they were that good i wouldnt have spent $1600 odd dollars on JE forgies

its all in the tune.
The next day its all in the sump
Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
I was contemplating using these but i was turned iff a little bit because i thought of compression (i have no idea weither it would change the compression) but i was in a rush and got a qoute for hypertech 30et pistons which i gather would have a lower comp, which piston type are you reffering 30e?? and what is the comp
cheers
What is the manufacturer's recomended piston to bore clearance? and what have you been running them at in your motors Stone Racing?
Can these piston come in any other comp ratio other than the 7.8 or 7.1 you mentioned? I've been trying to track down a comp ratio of approx 8.5 for use in a relative stock RB30ET.

Im running these, JetR31 is running these (380rwkw) no problems. Theyre fine as long as you dont detonate the mofos....same as any piston. JetR31 has used these with much success in their 5K Corolla motor aswell which withstood fair abuse including some detonation....cheap and reliable for most Street type motors.
Mine were made by 'Precision'.
