Because the car was meant to have a hi-flow and run 12.5-12.0.
Then we had a 3540, but by the time it came around to fit it, i got sick of seeing
them and wanted to try something different. The whole car is a budget job,
it would owe us only $20-22,000 finished with big brakes,paintjob,wheels..everything, including the purchase price of the car. Most people could spend that on just a motor and a box easily. It not meant to be a drag car, just a fast street car which it is, if it runs 10.5 on pump fuel at 127-130mph i will be very happy. I can improve things like the trans later,
it only cost $800 anyway and MV's have been beefing it up for free...just cost of materials.
I have just tried to get maxuim bang for buck on this car, rather than throw a cheque book at it, as we have wasted $1000 on **** on other cars over the yrs.
cheers

We will see what the next yr or 2 bring, i have a few bits for a stinker motor.
But i don't know how tight money wise it will be, so i won';t make any promises, Either way we are very happy with it now I could probally make the motor bulletproof for 2 grand, as the machining would all
be killer still.
I am definitly intersted to see the differerence on the street, as the street and the track are heaps different, and pump fuel is a great equializer , unless you are coming out on 110 , I know it will be faster, it's just a case of how much by really. As long as i don't get beaten by a solid v8..i don't care
Anyone got freinds with bike
why don't you sponsor me to give you competition, ha,ha
cheers mate

on the track it wil kill people coz of the trans brake, on the street it wil b alot more even coz there is such thing as 2 much power, traction may b an issue but the bigger rubber and 4link wil help alot, street & strip, reckon ill run the sohc setup 4 about a year then do a rb26-30 combo simalar 2 ben viscontes

Yep, alexs car ruined it for me, i always wondered if it was big cubes
or the twin cam head that smoothed out the power band, i worked it out
when we got ours going, a ride in alexs confirmed it. Once you go twin cam
you coudn't go back

Scooter the cat is tougher, he is half bengal cat. They love water unlike
other cats(he calls you to turn on the tap all the time) and act more like dogs.
Did final fitting of tyres today, tony smacked out the inner guards so they
clear easy there, they j u s t fit in the outer guards , should have the car back next weekend roughly.
cheers
