It's going ahead quite seriously - just a few annoying members of the public having a whinge about noise, when it's been EPA tested and is way out of town. http://www.riverlandmotorsportclub.com.au/ here's what they've done so far: Quote: EPA Tests have been carried out and approved. Native vegetation was consulted and approval given to clear the runoff area. Local Council has given approval for the Complex. Soil tests have been done ready for the ground preparation. All plans for the Complex have been drawn up. Pit area fence has been extended 50 meters to allow for permanent pit shedding. Return Road base has been laid down along the pit fence. The concrete barrier blocks are on site ready for placement Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

a bit over 2 hours - so would be a fair drive, but not totally out of the question, it's a nice place up there as well, so I expect most people would just camp out in the riverland somewhere (heaps of caravan parks, etc) and spend the weekend at the same time.

the only problem is that they think it is going to take 50 years to clean that site up ready for any kind of development Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Where? The Mobil site? Wouldnt suprise me!... But I think that relates to having it ready to be lived on not raced on? Riverland idea sux ass aswell, that would mean trailering it everytime just incase! Why cant they develop somewhere a little closer, our Government fvkn eats ass...

seriously why dont they just let open up adelaide international so people can take there cars out there or why cant the let us use one of the airports landing strips for racing adelaide or parafield. it not like parafield is always using them and they could make more money outta everyone.
