i use hankook 175 on a 4.5inch rim from superplus and mt et streets on the back all day everyday (VLs dont handle anyway)

the monaros have 4.5" spares...perfect...but goto any tyre place and they can get them.. nankang dont make the thin tyres anymore...and there is no more around to be imported... so MT sportsman on 4.5" is the best bet hamjet... BUT, cops will still hassel u, just because there street legal doesnt mean u can use them on a VL....on a ford t-bucket and other hotrods u can... streetable slicks.....MT street radials... Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

could you use them monaro cv8z space savers, they are 17" 5 spoke mag. Would be a lot easier for the guys with big brakes on the front. to still go racing with out changing brakes. Do they make 17" front runners tyres??

M/T dont make any 17" sportsman front but do make a 22.0/2.5-17 but thats a full drag front runner...

well i want something thats closest to legal that i can run daily and run with slicks on the track...so ill have to check out those mt's. thanks

M/T sportsman front is what i go hamoud... can be driven on street and awsome for strip and able to run slicks with them... Call VPW for good prices

do you you have to use cross ply tyres on your front runners to use at calder? because i had full slicks on the back and my normal 18's on the front and they nealy didnt let me run.
