I was thinkin, maybe they were looking for an immobiliser..? I dunno.. I always take my head unit face with me everywhere... happened to another friend of mine aswell.. the one time she didnt take it with her, her whole system got taken..

Thanks mate. Yeah i usually do take my head unit, but i thought of all places the car would be safe it would be the Crown Casino car park. Oh well i've learnt my lesson now, a bloody expensive one though

Hey Yeti, sorry to hear about your car and stuff. Just had an idea but, if this stuff happens regularly at places like this crown car park, do you reckon it'd be possible to do a stake out, use some flash LOOKING car, hide in a couple of other cars, and wait till someone tries to pull a stunt, then teach them what we all would want to. Since this crown car park has no cameras, you could almost do what you want to them (try not to go overboard, i'd cut some nuts off!), the hard part would be finding some bait, a car that looks good, but with an owner willing to do this. If you could catch them JUST b4 anything is broken etc, it'd be sweet. Even get the pricks on camera, anything. You'd just have to sit in a couple of other cars, without being noticed. Anyways, that just popped into my head while reading, see what you think. Hope you get your stuff back!

lol! Interesting read..... Did you have perverse child hood? I have no idea on how often it happens but in all honesty even if someone did try doing it and i caught them it won't get me my stuff back, it won't fix my car and I can't prove it was the same people. I like your thinking though
