DUZ360 - i must admit the plastic cover didnt exactly press my buttons, but i had to lose it when i went high mount snail and custom plenum. Just thought i'd have a dig, good to see your a good sport.

does the rb25det drive better than a rb30et, as in power and acceleration. i know it is a newer engine etc... but does it have the grunt of the 3Litre, knowing it is a 2.5Litre

a ne0 rb25 will make more power than a rb30 stock, 206 claimed at the wheels solid lifters, beter tbo ect beter motor than the rb25det out of r33's the rb 25det r33 has about 187 rwkw rb25de is like 140 not sure oin the ne06 rb25de like i think is in the wagon but i beleive that they are up around 148 rwkw but they drive ok more refined in there power delivery than a rb30 and sound a fair bit horneyer standard than a 3L

187 rwkw? its 187 kw at the flywheel I'm sure....? and what do you mean by horneyer? Like a bit higher pitched and smoother? RB25s rev a bit harder too. anyways, my RB25det conversion finally starts this monday coming. Should be done by the end of the week. Definitly be getting engine bay shots posted up aswell!!

Hard to see whats going on there from the pics
