my first vl was a white over silver calais, bought it from sydney while i was living up there for afew months for 2.7k.. knew i was picking up a bt1 turbo from my cousin so bought it as a every day car to get around while i built up the bt1 also.. got it pretty cheap had minor problems, petrol gauge didnt work so had to guess when i was running low and ran out of petrol only twice when i had the car and both times were when i was pulled up by cops waiting to get my lic and them to do a check on me.. bought the car with 187 xxx kms on it and had damage to the front right panel above the wheel and rust below rear window which let water into the boot.. was going to fix it up depending on when i was buying the bt1 turbo from my cousin and got a good quote from my mate who worked @ queen street in sydney to respray, fix rust, panel damage and straighten out the hole car plus another white over silver with a red/yellow purle threw it but thought i should just save the money.. car took a good beating, welded the diff and did sum good breakies got them all on dvd too before i sold it injector started leaking yet sumone offered me for 5k cash for it (buyer had no idea about cars) so got rid of it that same day n own a all white bt1 now.. we got king springs-superlow but back wasnt low enuff so cut another 2" off them then was sitting mad and ride in the back was bumpy as hell, esp. when i was trying to get with a chick in the back as my cousin was driving it 80k's n roads were bumpy as hell.. we needed mouth guards! :S Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

???? my cousin who lives up in sydney has seen the car going around bankstown afew times, new owner fixed panel damage and not sure about the rust in boot/window and fixed engine problems.. good times in that car!
