your right on that one mate, seeing as you have msc performance and most there customer cars in ur sig...........do u know whether hes been there mate?
yeah im guessing dennis and the others did the work @ pet mainly being it a pet car and obviously owner knows the msc guys by sum how or has had something done.. my mate got his car done @ creatd motorsports by rob and has sticker on front n back window and also a PET sticker since he is mates with dennis also and the other guys that work there..
i dont think he is another taxjob/ricer with stickers from every workshop or asmany as he can get just to make his car go quicker and look so tuff.. would have to be just a mate or something, anything really.. ask and you'll find out i guess.. very nice car!
while where on the topic of pet cars, anyone have info/picz of QIKBT-1 if thats still around and the same car, last time i saw it.. canary yellow calais front and back, black guards dumped on walky rims, interior retrimmed to black and yellow, aero seats etc. etc. very nice car.. havnt seen it for a long time..

how many is too many? ive got a bresciani one, a clayton auto's one, and a dandy exhausts one on my car... does that make me a taxjob ricer?
guess i better start peeling them off :P
well if you cant see out of ur rear window or people cant tell paintjob of ur car either 1 tells u that u have too many.. where as taxjob had forsale sticker/bresciani/preston auto + diffz + others just on the back window..
plus if u got the work or know the owners, where the name.. otherwise dont go around buying stickers for the sake of it like @ autobarn $69 for 4 stickers.. apexi, hks etc. etc.

i found out 2day about what [PETBT-1] is to msc.... pritty much nothing,, hes only been there once to buy a exhaust manifold or something like that...
doesnt seem like much, always a reason for it..
you never know though man.. alot of places will give you a discounted price if you wear their sticker, just cause ur car stands out and is giving em free advertising...
so maybe msc gave him a good deal on this manifold, and so he slapped their sticker on.. doesnt necessarily make him a rice rice baby

I've never heard of this getting done
I dont see why a shop would PAY someone to wear a sticker. THe work should sell itself

not paying them as such.. but if a place looks after me, i dont mind giving them free advertising.. provided they are honest with me, do good work, and give me a good deal...
it certainly seems like a fair trade to me..
i mean, say theres a VL that is at calder some fridays, in autosalon, at easternats, goes to summernats, whatever.. and theyve had 3 or 4 places do some stuff to the car.. if the owner said to them 'im entering my car in all these events, i'll give u free advertising if u look after me', ive heard of the workshops agreeing to it on many occasions (not just with vls mind you)...

I've had many people try to do this with me and my interior work, the problem is many expect you to do a to a shelf job for next to nothing, and claim that it is sponsorship and should be proud to have my name on their car and generally it is a s***box At the end of the day that business owner has to eat and pay his bills too.Yes it can be a good form of advertising but it has to be the right sort of car. I look after people as much as I can within reason but if you really want to showcase your work, you do it to your own car or cars of good friends so that you can make sure those sort of events are attended! I have done many big name cars that get me work , without a sticker on them. If people really like the quality of work they will ask the owner who did it!

That's exactly right. The best form of advertising is quality work, not stickers all over cars.
I love Autosalon stickers
yeah i agree with both of you... but also..
ive been ripped off by alot of mechanics and workshops, and im sure alot of you have too..
once i find one that can be trusted, is honest with me, and does kickass work, i would slap their sticker on my car because i'd have a sense of pride in the high level of work theyd done.. and if they can, for example, look after me price wise (fair enough, nothing ridiculous) then all the better

whats a good deal these days? if 1 place quotes you 2grand for a turbo and another quotes you $1800, would you go straight for the 2nd price cause its lower and its a better deal? without searching else where or checking quality and product is exactly the same?
ussually it if you get the work done from a workshop you'll wear the sticker mainly saying they did the work ofcorse its optional, my bt1 doesnt have any stickers at all and when it did only had 1 lil AVO TURBO WORLD on the back which is no longer cause i want nothing on it yet its been a **** been to so many diff workshops in sydney.. my vn ss has 2 bresciani stickers on the gaurds cause ive had the work done there and i wanted them on that car..
