Yeah he's a good bloke that trimmer LOL. Nah I honestly did the trim and didnt see it in the car until about 2 months later and I actually suprised myself. It came together really well and works with the car. And Jason you know what I think, very much respect!!!!! Car makes big HP goes well, stops well, looks the goods and Jason has the balls to track race it!

I hate you guys so much. I go away for a week and come back to this crap. Post up pics of the new fuel system or I will.

Not till its finished, had a little problem with the surge tank, but its on the way. Even if you were here to defend yourself, the comments would have been made

I've lunched another gearbox, can I have yours? Your car doesn't go anywhere anyway.

Engine is out for a freshen up, should be good when its all done now, looking to better a few times on the track next year. Also doing my first hill climb if the engine is back in time, that will be huge fun.

O.K, update time, the engine is back and in the car and running! Which is always a big positive. Got a little carried away with the so called freshen up, there wasnt really alot to save from the old engine. Block, crank and head are about it, gone for a set of forged rods and pistons new cam lifters valves and so on. Head has had some fairly big porting work done, all match ported manifolds of course, and yes Im still sticking with the standard inlet manifold. Cam is big apparently, not sure of the specs engine builder didnt want to say so I didnt ask. The new G3 link is going in this week and is having a light run in tune for a few weeks until I can get the kays up and then it will be back for a serious tune and a run down the track, hopefully at the hill climb first. No photos sorry Charles, it all looks the same though, engine bay is a little smoother and a bit tidier again. Quick thanks to Mic for all his help this time round, I would have been in a hell of a lot of trouble with out his help, and also to Scott and Headly at James race engines for all the extra work they put in, thanks guys.

Had a run at Heathcote on Saturday, car ran well, too bad the driver (me) struggled so badly. Ran a new pb of 11.2 @121mph, best mph for the day was 128mph. I really didnt do the new engine justice, but I will hopefully get it out to calder one friday night soon and to the Morewell hill climb in a month or so. It will be back on the track next year.
