I removed the rubber boot on the top of my super lows in the rear and sat it down a fair, much better and did not change the ride or feel of it at all...

Put the rubber boots on the top of your springs on that white calais... itd look heaps better just that touch higher. I wouldnt go ANY lower either... its bordering on visual delight.

Chopped springs are no good fellas........ thats why you use a small metal clamp around the bottom rung to hold them in. We do this so they dont fall out on the hoist or while driving. Works fine. They have to be metal though or they will break (some people use zip ties)

Dammit people DO NOT CUT YOUR DAMN SPRINGS I had Pedders in my old calais somewhere around ultra lows in my old Calais and it was damn low I tells ya. Scraped on everything looked the goods but it was a bit uncomfortable and frustrating at times. Another of my Calais had just Super lows it in and it looked damn nice without being impractical. Anything lower than ultra lows and your an idiot! Theres no reason to go lower as it is already nearly scraping the ground and a pain in the arse to drive and anything lower looks fricking ridiculous.
