He has a .82 rear on the turbo as well doesnt he? Any idea what cam he is using? Thats some great power, My goal will be 300rwkw. Enough to put an LC well into the 10's I would imagine.

haha yea.. he wasnt getting a good reading whilst adjusting the timing so he didnt run too much in it, i think he was saying its got 3 or 4 degrees in it, i have to get that sorted then go from there.. i think there prolly another 20rwkw in it as is.. it was actually running 21psi, spiked to 24 then dropped off to 21. i am getting some blow by too!!!! i was freaked out by it.. but 21psi every1 is saying its to be expected.. i got about 5 drops on the floor after an 80km drive with some of that at over 5500rpm. i raced an evo VIII on the way home (my suspension is all done on the rear) and i pulled away straight off the line, i got it up to 3200 on the brakes, let it go and pulled 50 metres through 1st and 2nd and i dont think this was standard.. n e ways it should go 11's easy i say.. slicked up i believe 11.5 at mb 115 - 120mph, it pulls hard top end, just keeps going, not like before where is slowed off at 120km/h. it doesnt feel too mcuh faster from 0 - 100 but much quicker from 100 - 200km/h. sorry the converter is an 8 inch dominator 3200rpm. its a wade 3 cam, i have specs somewhere.. but yea, i think it was 3rd from standard on their list. next mods include; 3 bar map sensor to run 25psi port and polish the head or rb26 head sort the timing issue out and run some more of that shi/t hope to push for 300 at the treads with the .82 rear housing.. should be good fun, it will be at the track on wednesday.. so long as ITS A BIT OF BLOW BY AND NOT A BLOWN ENGINE!!! but last time that happened there was a puddle of oil on the floor, at the moment the catch can is resting on its back without a lid on it ( air filter) as theres no rom so i need some1 to help me in finding a ALUMINIUM FABRICATOR IN SYDNEY so they can block the lid and make a new 1 on the top of the catch can.. n e 1 please help, list the name and numer on this thread please. thanks for the good feedback

yeah picking it up is definatly good fun, i am curious to see if many others get much blow by running 21psi..... im a little worried even though theres no lid and pretyt much anything that goes in will fly out of the end.. FABRICATORS for this catch can n e one?? need one by this w/e?? thanks

good stuff julian, that power level is huge on the street. i had 270rwkw on 14psi and it was the quickest thing i had ever driven, ( used to drive my old boys 320rwkw vs gts 3-4times a week) and it didnt compare in top end. good stuff man, take it easy and have fun

Quote: n e ways it should go 11's easy i say.. slicked up i believe 11.5 at mb 115 - 120mph I went 115.07mph with a reported 205rwkw(auto aswell)...meh? That reading doesnt mean much to me...I think I have a somewhat dodgy 'Homebrand' torque converter...you should be upwards of 120mph with a genuine 265rwkw. What issues was he having reading the timing? you mean with the timing light? What computer you running? Base timing is pretty important to the rest of the tune man, you could be cheating youself big time. Cant really comment on the blowby but from what ive seen of mine and friends cars, a little seems normal at high boost. Get your catch can setup with baffles inside it and see how much you get after a bit if thrashing. NUGGET-your GTR looks tough man.
