Firstly Im the sort of person that pulls that stuff of when I park the car at night wether it be in my driveway or at a shopping centre and im pretty sure many other people do it too with such a sought after car by thieves, Secondly you can NEVER be to extreme on the security of your vehicle no matter what type of car you have...I should have taken the steering wheel off altogether!!!!!! Thirdly any thief would bother with all that security stuff if they really wanted the car especially if it was in that good of a condition as mine was. All they had to do was tow it and worry about the other stuff later.... and yes probably the car has been stripped or tagged but what better car to steal for a taggy than a standard vlt with no mods... Really opens the gates for a would be thief to quickly spray the car add a front mount change interiour etc etc and you have a different car all together........ Obvioulsy you have never had a car stolen or have never owned a car before in your life, so you need to do a reality check and see whats involved with securing your car at night if it is to be left outside!!!!!!!!!....... One more thing...the car wasnt insured in any way so by saying "magically gets stolen" your implying I had in any way something to do with the theft then you are truly lost!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marc

just stating that 3g's is a bit extreme for a reward for a standard car, and i cant see why a theif would bother stealing a standard VLT with a tow truck? i have owned plenty of cars mate and i have had one pinched, i know many tow truck jobs that have happened to mates of mine etc and they have all been show cars etc that get taken? cant see why they would go to all that extreme, with the risk fo getting caught for a car that wouldnt be worth $500 to them? not saying u made the theft up, just saying u were a bit extreme on the security.

Why would Marc offer a 3 grand reward( FOR THE FUN OF IT!!!) The truth is some people have no other way to make money(Scum Bags) and no security measures will stop them, and you doubting the whole situation doesnt help marc's loss and you should keep your F#$ked up opinions to your self!! This is a lesson for all of us, keep an eye on your VLT as they mysteriously go missing, it has come to the stage where we cant drive them as every dayers due to thefts and epas/coppers, let you wife out at night but lock the VLT in the Garage!!! or sleep in it!

(sorry Marc) and this list can go on all day, give up while you are behind............

All I can say is grow up, and check out what vlt parts are worth these days and then you will see that the car would be worth more than 500 to them. They would get at least $4000 by selling off all the bits and pieces cheap or use the parts for a conversion and sell the converted car for $8000.......... Its not just showcars that get pinched mate. If that was the case then there would be no corollas or old datsuns being stolen these days. anyways be realisitic........ James... ur funny....Lol

i dont know about u guys but i always took leads off, unplug afm, take fuses to protect my baby from getting stolen. rememberm shut up man ur talking sh!t. let marc try find his car... cars have sentemental value, worth much more than just a couple grand... good luck marc
