i have a good set 0f 4'' kickers in the front slots running off amp and they are fcukin wicked, if u dont wanna fcuk around and want the stock look get some good 4''(just make sure you check the height of them before buying). earthquake have a awesomme 4'' split that sounds like 6'' splits, but as with everything they are not cheap $350, but worth it! if not custom pods would be the go, and i think autobarn can getthem ordered for you.

Yeah earthquake are a great brand, I still haven't decided whether to sell my 6.5" splits or go a good set of 4"s for my new car

anyone here got any pictures of their speakers mounted straight into the doors?? im thinking of doing it, just wondering if it all fits in the door without having to cut any metal

you cant mount them directly onto the doors without cutting out metal mate. I dont think any speakers what so ever will do so...

if you want to keep everything stock 4inch's arnt to bad. But if u like to listen to your music loud, even the best 4 inch's wont cut it. I paid $200 for a set of 4inch splits. And my mates 6inch clarions, which were $130 **** all over mine. So the bigger you go, the better it will sound

What if the 4" speakers are used in conjunction with a 3 way system? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

4" will do the job if they're part of a splits setup and u have a sub. and provided you dont want to smash your music out real loud, they will do the job. But 6" or 6.5" are the way to go if you wanna turn the shi't up
