So it made 750rwkw, and going by the yank dynos as they are different to what we use/rate so its nowhere near 750rwkw if the car was over here. Maybe into the mid 600's 30psi by 5000rpm isnt unbelieveable at all though. 26/30 here in a gtr has 550rwkw a lot earlier than 5000rpm. I doubt the turbo is worth the price tag, i reckon you could get close to that here for half the price

Full race said if i emailed him he would tell me what it was, Sp bought it threw them I don't need it anyway , maybe later when i build a twin cam, might put the 74mm front wheel in our Gt42. cheers darren Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

yeah i dont think its worth that amount of money id say u could easily mod a gt42rs here and make that power around the same spooling ect

Forcedinductions makes those turbos. They are called GT4245's. They are DBB and make big power, but not really worth the price if you ask me. They use a 42 front half with 45 back half.

just done a bit of looking thru supraforums.com theres a guy ova there making ova 1000rwhp at 29psi on a 3lt wit a 90odd mm turbo hitting 30psi by no later than 6000rpm!! he picked up 200rwhp in 3psi, from 26 to 29psi he going for 40+psi and aiming for 1500-1600rwhp thru a 3lt, not stroked thats insane!! the turbo hasnt even hit its effeciancy and already made that power he also thinks that its wheelspinning round 8000odd rpm once this is all done, he has got a 3.4lt stroker being built....

Yeah that is atomic Fabio on the board. He has a GT55. I bought 3 from forcedinductions and they look like okay turbos. I was very disappointed in the bearing structure and am worried if these things will hold under high boost conditions. They only have a .370 shaft and the same thrust as the GT42, which leaves me VERY worried when we start to run high boost pressures. I know talking with jose he mentioned they have blown a few of them up. He said the shaft is to small and its causing shaft vibrations, which ends up causing a catastrophic failure.

That atomic fabio sounds like a freak, he has been doing crazy stuff for years, very secretive always though, i guess you would be though cheers darren

If anybody missed the thread I posted in a few months back, it had information about a new company hear in Australia doing exactly what your talking about Darren. He's called Mr Turbo, and does billet ball bearing turbo's. Attached are some pics, and you can get the bearing housing anodised any colour you want to match the car. I have heard good and bad things about them, the problem being that he has developed these things himself over the past 7 years, they are dual Ceramic ball bearing, and I believe some of the development ones have had their problems here and there, and this has led to some good stories, and the bad ones. I have bought one personally for my own car, and he uses parts from precision, garrett, Turbonetics and so on, and does the exact same thing you spoke of with the PT turbo, you can have up to a 80mm comp wheel and R and S trim exhaust wheels in a TO4 housing, all the way down to a .68 single entry rear, He also has the all the latest GT series wheels, GT Q trim, GT R trim(which is GT42 and GT45), and GT S trim. This gives you the better spool, and more HP that all the GT series stuff has. His bearig system also has less parastic drag, with the ceramic balls he uses being the lightest and truest(roundest) in the world. Pricing is also more competitive than buying in any of those US turbo's, under $2500 usually, depending on how big you go, I can help anyone out if they are interested. I'm not into them to make money, as quite frankly, there's not much to be made, as like me he is a little guy tryin to make a $$ and can't afford to give people big discounts, I just think they are the sh1t, they have ZERO shaft play, tight tolerances(housing clearances) and look good, as wwell as being full customisable, upgradable, rebuildable, and affordable. 6BOOST

yeah Mark does some real good work!! im looking into a 76mm roller from him ova the next few months need to go have a chat with him and see what he recommends as my motor will eventually be getting built to handle more power than std

i know that whats your point? im mainly referring to the size of the turbo and how it spools without nos ect on still a 3lt bottomend on t04r they measure the dynojet as having roughly 14-15% loss and the dynodynamics as 26-27% so that makes 1000rwhp on a dynojet roughly 870-880rwhp on a DD so your guess on mid 600rwkw is about spot on

I would like to ask a few questions about the center sections. No one has that here in the US except for its and they are $$$$$. Forcedinductions has AL center sections, but they use the its units as well.

Its far from 6000rpm, much earlier, and thats not too far from 800rwhp now is it? There is no reason why a correctly matched single (or twins) cant be that responsive, or even better if you ask me. Its not unbelieveable, and its certainly not something that hasnt been done before

yes there are people here in aus doing that power but they dont hav a 92mm turbo doing it theres no1 in aus that has a 92mm turbo spooling up at that rate (w/o nos anyway) and theres no1 here in aus that is looking at producing roughly 1400rwhp wit spool up by 6000rpm is there theres a supra here in qld that does 800rwhp but not sure what it spools at Mr Turbo is in QLD there address is 206 Banyula Drive Gaven QLD 4211 Australia His name is Mark 0011 61 7 55961079

What turbo's are on this 800rwhp supra and what rpm does it make full boost? WHen you say it make it "with absolute ease", how much boost is it running to do it?? I'd say at least 35-38psi, maybe more, it would also need at least 1000hp of airflow. I have a 2JZ here in brisbane, stock bottom end, no cams, no head work, no head gasket, only head studs, injectors, cooler, and one of my GT45 kits. Full boost 4700rpm, and talking real hp, not bullsh1t dyno figures, it runs 10.5's@139mph on crapy 5 year old mccreary 8" slicks with stock street tyres on the front. I'd say with one of Marks 88mm turbo's, we could go 900-1000rwhp and have full boost at 5200-5300rpm. Faster than that is mechanically impossible without gas or dry ice. 6BOOST

u wouldnt need an 88mm to make that sort of power would u? a 76mm turbo is rated around 1300hp i figured that could flow between 900-1000rwhp but thats absolutly pushing it and thinking that the motor can digest it all so im guessing major head work, cams, plenum ect how much can u get his turbos for kyle? 76mm and up? what size wheels does mark have above 76mm? also, sound performance done some testing and they found that there non bb 1400hp turbo actually spooled quicker than there dbb 1300hp turbo by 350rpm http://www.supraforums.com/forum/sho...5&postcount=65 (http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2399145&postcount=65)

E-mail forcedinductions.com, they do the testing for almost all of the turbos made for most of the turbo companies. They have logs of many of the turbine wheels being flowed seperately as well. I think its [email removed]. We got a 76mm from them and it made just a shade under 1000rwhp on a 302 (989rwhp). It was based on a GT42 chassis. They also got us a 80mm version of the standard PT76GTS. It made over 75rwhp more and spooled the same. It will make over 1000rwhp on a 2JZ, and still fit on the standard header ( greddy, hks..etc) where the big GT series units will not. They built a custom turbo for a 4.5L VH45 nissan engine that runs on methanol, turbo was 126mm....hehe. So they should be able to at least tell you what to use.
