The usual way of thinking from holden........"Umm.. we need more power what can we do? hmmmm I know lets just make the engine bigger!" Holden will never make engines which would match makers such as Honda and Nissan. Holden Never made the engine.. Its a GM's engine.. so its not like they "made" it that big.. 2nd.. my dad had a vn exec station wagan 5spd from brand new.. always serviced it and cleaned it twice a week.. it looked great and still had plently of power with 1800,000 on the clock, had alot of low down power. and as for honda and nissan i'd go a vn any day over that beetle sounding 4cyl anyday..

I dunno, I'd probably buy a VN over a Honda just cause I hate Honda's and generally 4 cylinders with a passion. But I also hate VNs sooo much. the SS's are alright, but I hate the ****ty exec V6s with the death rattle going around being driven by 16 year old who thinks he is mark skaife with his headlights on lining up every VLT and skyline on the road. Yes true they are the GM Buick motor, but they are still ****house. In most cases a VL will sell for more than a VN, and for not much extra you could probably get something newer anyway if thats what you want like a VR/VS. Leave VN's for the bogans or fishermen who miss their boats during the week :P Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Hi there yes i might be female but i am familiar with cars i have lived for them. any ways I think paying 4g for a vn in that kind of condition is a bit too much. maybe if the motor was worked heaps or something like that. Any way just my 2 cents. Latisha

Quote: the engines r pretty shiot mate. if uve ever heard or driven one dunno if anyone else picked this up but thats just utter bs right there. not just saying it because i own a VN, but the good ol buick can take a mega beating, i have an uncle who used to own a vn and treat it like ****, didnt even get any services done to it, never changed his radiator fluids or anything, still ran like a charm. And as for how the sound...well, at least you can tell its a 3.8 ltr when you hear it, stick a lukey exhaust with extractors on it and it will be the best sound you ever hear edit : dont forget about v6 vengeance, and the many boosted vn's around. If people can be bothered to put money and effort into the Vn's they are easily a low 11sec car. although, if your like me and cant be stuffed, then vn is NOT the way to go, just get a VLT Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
