My mate got a VX commodore, and his a fu{king moron in it it, drive all my friends around doesnt watch the road. we counted how many seconds his eyes were off the road to do something on his sh!t stereo we got 15 second eyes off the road, went into oncoming traffic and just missed. Is it Illegal for him (on his P's) to drive a VX Executive? How can i get him off the road before he kills my mates? (without me havbeing to slash his tyres)

Im sick of reading this every week. Just because your car meets power to weight and engine capacity to weight DOES NOT MEAN YOU can drive it on your Ps! Vicroads do have a list (which you can request via thier website, as i have it) that details every make and model which you cannot drive. All commodores are in there with V8s (except some 253's), VLTs, etc! I was allowed to have a 308 in a HQ Premier... power to weight is fine, engine capacity to weight is fine, but its on the banned list and thats thier final stance.

Are they ever going to put that F'ucked Law in? No P-Platers can Drive V8's, Supercharged Cars or Turbo Cars. It won't make any sense though. Say if some dude has a 5.0L in a heavy a'ss car like Stato for example they cant even drive it. BS man. Hope this law never comes in. We will all be f'ucked

I feel really sorry for the kids getting their Ps after July 1, 2008, when they bring in the P1/P2 laws. An extra year on your Ps (making you a fully licenced driver up to 3 years later than some states and territories), much harsher laws and penalties. For example, if you lose your licence, you get time added on to your Ps as well as the loss of licence period. If you're caught drink driving, you have to have a breatho starter installed, which has to be re-activated every half an hour, too.

Yeah my mate has one of those breatho starters, it's costing him like $1200 for 6 months of use...plus the $900 in fines for drink driving etc. That really hurts the hit pocket of a p plater
