Andy if you don't agree to let me jump you rolla, I will have to put up a poll and you will lose. I think it should be done. And done properly. This was a no-prep Saturday morning jump session, imagine what I could do with a bit of work!

once i save a few quid and buy myself a neat little run around , for sure we can , but it will be a few months yet, though there is a nice little astra or something up the road from me for 1k , might investigate it.

dammit luke, i wanted to race you in my '86 Colt mine is a GSR though so i reckon it woulda kicked yours. plus it's manual - good old four speeds. good way to end the life of the thing though, what sort of money does a wrecker give you for something like that? 50 bucks? Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Grant wasn't in the car- he is soft. Niel my Colt would have destroyed yours. Mine was a GSR and an 8 speed one at that. When I use the high/low shifter too it hooks. You ask Grant or Andy- they've been in it. And you are a dead set wan ker. Why would the wrecker give me money for it when it BARELY drove there. It was absolutely rooted by the time it got there. Its only because I know them that they crushed it for free.

Yeah thats fair enough... Make sure when you race mopeds you go 1st(low), 2nd(low), 2nd(high), 3rd(low), 3rd(high). Thats 5 gears over about 110kph- they hook. Of course your little bitch hands may not be large enough to shift both sticks at once (2nd high to 3rd low). If you get it right you can flat shift it.

interesting....... i'll have to try that. would require some tricky hand-work i agree. should use it to train hilly to find third gear, might help his times. hard to find mopeds to race in brisbane though.
