yeah, there isnt a great lot of room for a tt supra engine in a little mr2.... unless you went really crazy and stuck the engine in the front :S

what makes you all think it'd be slow? a 3S-GTE is a kick-arse engine, and in a light mr2 would absolutely fly, even if only mildly boosted. be more than a match for the majority of the VL turbos here.

As if you'd buy a ferrari for straight line performance anyway, missing the point guys.. It's a cruiser, get looks driving around, sit ya blow up doll g/f in the front seat, top down.. go for a drive LOL! Anyone who has to spend $300k plus on a car has serious self esteem issues, so if you can get out of it for under $40k for something that suits the image, go for it. Oh and mines a daily..

I would probably do it if you can get the MR2 to haul ass that is At least you could hold on to your $200K But there is no comparison to the real thing , The MR-2 won't rev to 10K like the real the 355 will !!

actually you could make a 3SGTE rev to 10k easily, and a sh!tload cheaper than buying a ferrari. but yeah still in the end its not the real thing. personally if id buy an MR2, id want it to stay MR2.
