im no criminal. i just have an exceptionally bad memory when it comes to where i leave my keys, be it the keys for the car or the wheels hence i have to figure out ways to get myself out of a pickle from time to time.

dont they have factory lock nuts?

locknuts arent an issue, a lot of times people would bring cars into the shop and had lost their locknut keys.. so just drill em or bash a cheap socket on and turn em off, there are a lot of dumb people who dont think before they try and do stupid things but if they were pros, the only thing that stopped them of the fourth one was time, or someone may have been approaching them... unfortunately even though they were initially short of one rim, like y-bhave said, they would have knocked one off a dealer or found another one, even if they didnt you would be surprised in the amount of people who will buy an incomplete set (to do the muzza like thing [rims on the front and ceptors on the ass]) and keep one spare, or sell that 1 rim to someone who only has 1 or 3.. never ending cycle... peace

I got busted stealing a Tech-Deck once when I was a kid, does that make me a crim too? Give the bloke a chance.
