thats bull****. they shouldnt be able to take a full rundown of your car unless they have a warrant to do so. and plus they cant pin you for headlights in the daytime because for one you dont need to use them and for 2 it does not cause for any danger to other cars on the road. and they should only be able to pin you for something that you were doing wrong. but i guess you shoulda had permits. was it a random pull over for everyone or just your cars in the cruise? lucky the cops where wearing their yellow jackets. for everyone to know if a coppa pulls you over and steps out of the car without wearing their yellow vest that is a fine to them too. it is illegeal for them to approach a vehicle on the side of the road without wearing their saftey vest. always have a camera in the car and have it ready for them. i just cant wait to catch one out and send the photo to the person in charge haha. maybe they will stop doing it.

sucks arse man.. lovely car.. get some permits so you can stick it right up them next time !!!! for the record... the headlights not being the same brightness is a defect... it also does not matter whether it is day or night, they can do a light test any time...

i dont mind gettin yellowd for **** thats wrong with my car (as in lights, brakes, bald tyres) but other **** is just revenue raising...... One of my headlights gets water into it... so its a bit rusy colourish, so it doesn't look as bright as the other.... so yeah thats cool.... a permit is a load of ****.... they just say u can have it, so you pay for a permit, that a cop can still sticker you for if he feels like it.... even if u have a permit for it....

if you dont have permits that is something "wrong" with your car... i wouldnt be complaining.. that yellow was warranted..

Im not complain.. I have things I dont have permits for, so yes they are defectable... What I think is a crock of ****, is the permits alltogether. A cop can still sticker ya for stuff that you have on the permit anyway... so whats the point? its not like you need to pass a engineers report or emmissions test in WA to get the permit anyway.... thats revenue raising......

i've never had a yellow, always weaseled my own out of them... yeah it sucks they can yellow you with a permit... its people that like to get permits for things and then change them to something wildly bigger that wrecks it for others... when permits were first issued a police officer couldnt place a yellow sticker on the car for a modification that had a permit.. it was quickly changed as it got rorted big time... Also like to add... a police officer does not have to give any reasons as to why he thinks your car is defective... he only has to "reasonably suspect" the car of something and it can be yellow stickered... All the laws help the revenue raising, the government wins, we lose.

yup, thats what im talking about... Also its more than that... Over east they have emmissions laws and engineers certificates that you need to pass. Thats what it should be like over here. You get a permit over here coz the pits say you can have it. So why do we need a permit then? Coz they get more money. What we have is worth ****all really. What really pisses me off, is that my car was gonna cop a yellow b4 he even looked at anything.... I saw about 5 cars in the carpark with stickers.
