Bumping this thread up. Past few months not much has happened. Panel beater shut down so I've sourced a new one, engines nearing completion- all I have to do is bolt it together. Waiting a few weeks for the panel beater to be finished. Oh, and panel beater change led to a colour change. Now going Bionic Blue. Ford colour. Not much to do now.

good choice to change colour i reckon.. not a fan of the other blue you were going for originally. Will be very nice when finished.. good luck with it all man.

Yeah it started wearing off when I saw it in direct sunlight on a few occassions, seemed way too Green/Blue .. Teal - I needed something more blue and consistent.

Heres some more visuals for you all. I went out today for another update, Only thing left to be painted is the outside of the doors, bonnet, boot, and the rest of the body. Everything else is yet to go on. Not the best pics - but its looking very very glassy Should have it back in 2 weeks they reckon. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

they say two weeks, you think 4 weeks. keep that in mind, you wont ever get pissed off.. and you might get pleasently surprised.

I've got the rajab inlet sitting downstairs on top of the runners - thats as far as I got, I was going to proceed but I still need to get both parts polished so thats not going anywhere. Haven't really touched the engine. I'm on the lookout for a 33 5spd aswell- But thats about as far as I've gone. I'll be happy enough to see it back painted, then once I get the interior in I'll be blind for a while.. Then it will be a mad rush to get stuff going. I'm leaving the engine for last to go in because if I think I have enough spare cash sitting around I'll go aftermarket management and maybe injector/fuel/ turbo setup at the same time. Not sure yet. They say 2 weeks - But I'm not really in a rush. I have to figure out what colour to paint the sills though, directly below the doors, skirts will be black. I'm thinking skirts will be silver? But wouldn't the lower moulds cover that?

Updating - Grabbing alot of the minor stuff now in prep for when I get her back. Boost/ Vac Gauge ordered via Mod your car, very happy with their site. Cheaper then anyone around here delivered + a cup. Cheaper then anywhere else with just the gauge. Autometer Cobalt. DBA plain Rears, DBA slotted fronts are ordered. Still deciding on my brake calipers, what colour, black or chrome or what. Leaning towards black. Apart from that - I'm looking out for FR19's but the budgets not going to allow it for a little while. Pursuities it is.
