SII was the most common ones over here, i have only seen one S1...mine! i know, i've been in the market for the last 2.5 years and have only seen about 10 Calais for sale in that time [all grossly overpriced at that]. believe me i intend on looking after it, i spent afew hours last night just cleaning the inside of the bootlid and giving the car a wipe down using a cloth and cold water, nothing else...the surface rust and crap rubbed off easy. today i brought alot of paint care products...I will be cleaning, waxing and polishing the car all day on friday, hopefully they will work, cuz the car looks like it hasnt been cleaned in the last 5 years and the paint is dull and faded. heres 2 before/after shots i took of the bootlid area: - Every part of my car will be cleaned and re-cleaned over and over again until it looks like this example: Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

"the inside is nice but that white paint is crap" was one comment.

Mate cleaning will only get you so far, to look like tha above pic your looking at 6-7k plus by the time you paint and buy the wheels at 3500.

just respray it in a nice white. dont bother polishing etc even if you get it abit shiny it wont last long anyway and the stone chips wont go away wether you spend 10 minutes or 10 hrs on each panel.
