17-08-05, 20:30 GMT+10#22 rest of the pics... i don't think the HPC coating would go off colour that badly usually, i had it covered with a heat shield and i kinda over-heated it on the dyno... that is the more expensive of the two coating Kyle has mentioned, it has a higher temperature rating than the cheaper silver coat.

17-08-05, 21:13 GMT+10#24 I was hopin you took a pic of the dump wastegate pipe!! I loved the look of that thing. It had fantastic boost control too all things considering.
I make the manifolds sit a little further away from the strut tower than this when low mounting now, just to be safe, its only about half an inch, but helps. Also the pipes are arranged differently so they are more equal length, will have pics of that one next week. Coating is an optional extra on the manifolds at the prices qouted above.

17-08-05, 21:19 GMT+10#25 Full teflon braided oil and water fittings with Speedflow billet hose ends now an optional extra on manifold kits for $380. Please don't post if you got yours cheaper, or that steel lines are good enough. This is the price, and considering the cost of all the parts at trade is over $300, I think A good deal.
Kit includes:
Every single nut bolt, gasket and washer needed to fit the turbo up to your factory oil and water lines, including the water hose that goes around the rear of the block. I will get YBJSL4 to pos up pics of his when he gets them in a day or 2.

21-08-05, 18:10 GMT+10#26 All my packages are genuine garrett australia Ball bearing turbo's, none are plain bearing. I can do the plain bearing version of the 800 or 1000hp GT42 and 45's for $800 less than the qouted prices there. Spool is the same, its not the ball bearings that make them spool faster, its the wheel designs, they just don't last as long due to thrust bearings wearing out quickly, they are however rebuildable.

22-08-05, 18:41 GMT+10#27 Kyle, have just recieved my package... and what can i say, what i expected was nothing compared to this. You can see the detail, time and effort put into your products, nothing was done half-assed, everything exceeded my expectations. The effort put into the welding is also truly amazing (i love those collectors), btw nice touch on those braided lines with them fittings.
Pictures dont do your manifolds any justice. Hopefully you'll have a few completed for Jamboree, people need to see your work in the flesh.
Well worth the wait and the $$. It was great doing business with you, and will truly recommend people your way... Youre a great person to deal with, informative and patient :)
ps. i think its christmas

23-08-05, 09:01 GMT+10#33 yeh heaps more fun, specially trying to tear that manfiold outta the box. i'm thinking, this guy must b wog to use that much tape. then again i'd rather it be packaged well than have it damaged.
unfortunatley ive exceeded my d/l limit for this month, so i'll have to send pix from a friends computer, will definately have them by tonight.

23-08-05, 21:13 GMT+10#34 thanks guys, make sure you get me some pics of it hanging off the sides of your engines with a good camera, so people can see where everything fits.
As for all the tape, bubble wrap and packaging, I've been laughed at before, but I'm just paranoid, I think they are all rough bustards with parcels and would rather not damage 3-4g worth of stuff by not packaging it better. I'll be getting boxes made up to the right size from now on to suit my needs, so lots less tape. Probably save myself 50% on the cost of postage cause of less tape and cardboard:D
Hope to hear from you both when they are up and running, let me know if there is anything you need for them along the way and any advise you may need on other components to go with it. I'll keep ya posed on that plenum Koray.
Cheers..........................Kyle.
