23-08-05, 00:13 GMT+10#23 This cruise is going to be organized as best as possibly, theres already about 5 of us helping with the planning. A date will be set within the week, but it will probably be early november. Im thinking Sunday the 13th of November. And problems with anyone, let me know, but this is probably going to be the date. Tyson, if you could pm me if this is ok with you that would be appreciated. Cheers Guys.
Btw, we have a map planned out so far. (Excuse the detail, it will be done in more detail asap. Thanks to James (backoffman) for doing it up for me. If you have another idea for the route please pm me, or post in here. Will talk to ya spirit as well to see what you think as your the man that knows the area.)
From meeting places (Kmart at anzacs, and somewhere northern) up to Gawler, go onto the Sturt Hwy, to Blanchtown get lunch or mingle, then go down the river to Swanreach come through Sedan, Sanderson, Mount Pleasant, Birdwood, then down to Adelaide again.
What we all think?
Thanks Guys,
Matt

23-08-05, 20:25 GMT+10#30 the roads are good, 1/2 way there is the highway, then the country roads are generally ok, and chain of ponds is good, and a lot of fun

Thats a bloody long trek lads, Its a bit over an hour from Gawler to Blanchetown up the Sturt Hwy. Not sure if theyve go decent fuels up there. Bugger all to look at on the way either. The roads from Sedan to Mount Pleasant through Sanderson? (never heard of it), wouldnt be too flash.
Id suggest From Gawler to Nuriootpa through Lyndoch and Tanunda. Then to Angaston, Eden Valley, Sprinton, Mount PLeasant Then to Birdwood and back through Chain of Ponds to the city. The road from Angaston to Mount Pleasant is a pearler for cruising.

Agree with above , U cant have a borassa valley cruise without passing through the barossa's 3 biggest townships (nuri tunaunda and angaston)

24-08-05, 22:48 GMT+10#40 I reckon a cruise is meant to be a group of cars and their owners getting together to admire each others cars, and have a fun time. Now i think a change of scenery would be really good and its something a bit different. How many times have you picked up a chick on a cruise? Cruises arnt there to pick up :P girls arent gonna chase ya after you drop a dose . Ideas are still coming together boys, will keep you all updated.
