Many people meet up today? How was the drags. I was just thinking about a vl car club. Just an option i was thinking about that some of us could join. Not to go all out and create a website etc, just have meetings and stuff : >. Post what ya think. Some may think it's a stupid idea, but just post that, thanks, brad

Some may think it's a stupid idea, but just post that, thanks, brad Well I went cruising by my self yesterday, so I guess that my Club is pretty exclusive at the moment because I'm the only one in it. Meremere was Ok only about 30 cars running. Track was really slippery and any rear wheel drive car with any power had a hard time of getting traction. Fastest of the day that I saw was a Blue R34 Skyline GTR with huge bronze Rayz racing wheels on it , was running in the 12's . After the drags I cruised out to Pukekohe Park race track as the Commodore Car Club was having their 3rd round of the winter sprint series, you guys would have got to see Brent, Who was HSVSUX on this forum race his VL turbo calais, this thing flies and he is the guy who did my Coil over Suspension and Wilwood Brakes. Well as usual I am always active and out in my car so if anyone wants to join in give me a ring, not fun cruising by my self all the time. Cheers Kris

His old loggin name was HSVSUX, Now NZ VLCT. Any of you NZ guys have questions or want quality custom work for your VL , Brent will have probably done it, seen it or had to fix it. He really knows his stuff even the Ozzies Listen to him, plus he is a great guy to boot. Cheers Kris

OH right, awesome! So it's auto? Because i really want a manual. I'm just sticking with my auto for now until i have the funds to buy a 5spd. Have to get a spacer plate to drop the compression a tad. And will only be able to run 8psi max i was told until i get the decompression done properly. Also did you get my email about the brass elbow kris? Do i need this off the turbo when converting my n/a? Just said that because someone else might know if i do need it or not. Its on the end of the waterline apparently.

Its on the end of the waterline apparently. Brent can you confirm this as Brad has brought my factory Turbo, plenum ,throttle body etc to turbo his N/A Calais. Not sure what I need to keep or what will be changed to put on the GT35/40 turbo. Brad we will sort it out anyway. Guys meeting up with Kamakaze from Hamilton on saturday, he is running in his new engine and wants to see my car, May be we can have a cruise down to Hamilton and see the sights. Car finally goes to get the interior finished this Saturday , as my daily drive calais crapped out on me had to use the turbo to get to work. can't wait to get the interior in, then it horsepower time, yeha. Cheers guys, Kris
