17-10-05, 19:10 GMT+10#21 looks to be coming along nicely
just a few questions...why did you decide to keep NA gear in there?
did u drop compression?, what cam's it running? injectors? does Hawk still use AFM?
it seems a little odd unless youre just gonna be happy running around with 150rwkw ?? then if you want more then a lot of things will have to be done twice. Not trying to criticise, just want some insight from the builder himself

the silver skirt then the coloured door and then the silver bump strip along the door just looks a bit wrong, where as it would look fine if colour coded, or if you had silver calais panels under the bump strips.
otherwise, keep up the good work.
Stevie
yeah i have the calais moulds except one. the left fender one. just waiting for that so i can paint them and put it on.

that car looks fuukin unreal man, everything looks bran spankin new.. good job mate, and good luck
cheers man. pretty much everything on it is brand new. thats why its taken so long really. for one finding the stuff brand new is pretty hard and then when you find it it costs an arm and a leg. main time consuming bit is finding the money. im only a uni student on centrelink.

critisise away man. i dont care. i really didnt have a decision to keep all the n/a gear. it was a desision between upgrade the internals and wait another year or put it all together and run it at a safe boost level. i will most likly be building a new engine in the near future like i did with the rb26dett. looking at producing a rb30det twin cam special will see how we go.
compression is still the same but not sure what level it is. i have to borrow my mates comp gauge to check it out for sure
cams are still n/a. one of the thing to do later
the hawk ems doesnt use an afm it maps the intake. i sold the hawk though and decided to run an apexi safc. i figured i didnt need much more than that for now and later if it is required ill upgrade to stand alone. but you as we all know the best comp for an rb30 is the factory one as it is more reliable which is what i needed.
as with power output i coouldnt give a rats ass at the moment. the number one goal is to get her on the road. i havnt driven her for over 2 and a half years now and im just etching to drive her again.
