And you dont sand the grooves, just the ribs. Read it again cobber. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

if you leave the niteshades dry, it has a matt finish, and thats how the cops get you, if you spray a few coats of clear over the top, they are glossy and the cops assume they are berlina lights too easy Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

idiots. supercheap black spraypaint - $2 sandpaper - $2 spraying the whole light and then sanding the bumps only, as to have black between the raised bits and not having any visual difference, but saving 3 hours work - PRICELESS

looks exactly the same , the top of the ripples is clear lens, rather than in between, it looks identical lol.. how on earth can it look any different providing you use the same paint etc.. just sand the surface well. turns out great. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

Everybody who has replied saying, why bother, what a waste of time, heres a dodgy way to do it... obviously don't give a sh!t how their car looks. The way VLHERO has done it, was so it looks alot better than tinting the hole light, which makes it so hardly any light gets through, it looks very uneven in the end, and is quite dangerous which is why it is illegal on street registered cars and the cops will hassle you big time. The raised parts sprayed black not only looks a hell of a lot neater, but it looks more factory and more proffesional than a 2 dollar, 10 minute backyard job. He has taken the time to share how he did it, so others can get their cars looking good and all he has copped is criticism. If you can't even be bothered buying quality paints etc... and insist on buying $2 Australin Export crap from Supecheap then dont expect it to stay on for very long... It might look ok for a week but in time they will look like crap. And yeah nightshades is ok, but it is very difficult to get the right number of even coats and looking good and in the end, when the lights are tuned on 9 times out of 10 it looks terrible. So give the guy some credit, I think they look heaps better than most other home jobs Ive seen. Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
