I have personally used these and seen an easy 350 rw hp (not from a holden engine) on a single turbo application.
For all we know, your comparing it to a GT42R, a $4,000 turbo!
Im sure your very proud of having "originally building" a car that makes nearly 800. At the end of the day, the owner has probably spent gobs of money on it and its usability is pretty much limited.
So, im not arguing that these are THE Best turbo's money can buy- which you seem to be making a point of!
Of course everyone has champane taste, but with a beer budget- in reality its not possible. Im offering the next best thing
The fact of the matter is that if you, or anyone on here wanted to spend big bucks on a big Hp engine, they wouldnt be coming here and they sure wouldnt be interested in a "bush bearing" turbo...
I have offered 2 solutions that will easily (read: on low boost) make 400 on a mild engine, both are brand new, both are a known quality and with warranty. The main point is that they are affordable to most people and are within their hp goals with room for further improvement but wont be a pig to drive or when it comes on boost, it wont be so savage that it kicks you off the road (amusing but gets tiresome)
As for your comments on " I'm yet to see a single performance turbo or performance car in the world that is running a $700 turbo, OR a centre Tangential exhaust housing"
HKS T04R 650-700 Hp (proven time and time again)
Greddy T78-T88 700-950 Hp (proven time and time again)
Turbonetic's T66-T78 (proven time and time again)
Garrett T04 (proven time and time again)
Non of them are in the $700 range exept the Garrett T04 that I had a GB on and the next closest would be the Turbonetic's T66 at $1300 (entry level) or so. The fact that there is 2 of them for $1500 blaitently defies your above comments- Yes, 1 would be too small for over 400 rwhp but running one on each bank is a different story.
I personally used the compressor wheel on a 52mm T3 exh Wheel to make 290 at the treads on 12 psi. The car ended up running an 11.8 @ 116 for an all up cost of $8500 including the car- sure it was a death trap wheel spinning in 3rd gear with stock suspension and brakes but that was the challenge- build something as quick as possible down the 1/4, if it didnt better ET's money wasnt spent on it!
Im sure if you have "available" T04's for "diesels" that are somewhere around the 5Xmm comp and 6Xmm exhaust with 270 thrust which is basically worth nothing...
Sorry I do take it personally when I have seen these turbo's do exactly what you said they wont do (even though your very vague about it and dodge any relevant detail to back up your claims) and all your doing is having a dig at my posts- and havent even posted something that is of any assistance in even the slightest way to the original post. hey, if you or your "customers" have failed with a twin entry turbo then maybe there was something wrong with the set up.
So put your money where your mouth is and lets see what you have to advise for bang for buck solution to what I have posted.
If you have a better idea, Great! Im happy that a better solution has been given and we can all learn and save.
But you dissing a perfectly good turbo because of buying power of a group buy makes them cost effeective- well you have already made it clear in your above posts

None are centre tangential, NONE>>>>>>
And none are $700
"The fact of the matter is that if you, or anyone on here wanted to spend big bucks on a big Hp engine, they wouldnt be coming here and they sure wouldnt be interested in a "bush bearing" turbo..."
I have a big $$$ engine, I still come on here, and I still post where I can to try and help people, I have also built a turbo EA falcon that was in zoom for $6000 including fuel system, computer(delco), entire engine, turbo exhaust manifold, intake and intercooler. It made 554rwhp, and run 126mph in a 1650kg vehicle with driver. I made the exhaust manifold, the intake manifold, the intercooler pipes and intercooler, exhaust, machined the turbo myself and wired the thing up. There is no need to spruke on about how fantastic you are and a general load of tripe about building cars on the cheap.
A garrett GT42, in a plain bearing version I can get you for $1400, this is available in both 94 and 102mm trims, and also available for $2100 and $2300 respectively in those wheel sizes in ball bearing, not "$4000" as you stated. I'd say the fact you then only need one wastegate, one dump pipe, one intercooler pipe, one set of oil and water lines and half the amount of bull**** would say that using 1 of the plain bearing versions makes a pretty damn good argument. You say"
"Im sure if you have "available" T04's for "diesels" that are somewhere around the 5Xmm comp and 6Xmm exhaust with 270 thrust which is basically worth nothing..."
What are the wheel sizes of the ones you are selling?? I'd bet pretty damn confidently that they have P trim exhaust wheels(65ish mm), standard thrust bearing(not 360), and a 50 something MM compressor wheel.
If you want to take it personally, then good for you, performance turbo's aren't dear anymore, a ball bearing GT35/40 is $1650, a ball bearing GT42 800hp version with choice of 5 exhaust housings is $2100, for this money, can you really afford NOT to use quality components?? I know I wouldn't.

Im sure a pro like yourself who uses so many turbo's has just realised that the price of all GT Series turbo's has gone up 10%
That and the fact that a GT35/40R is too small for a 5.0L Engine.
A GT42R(BB) is $2100 AUS?!?!?
Forget it kiddo, they RRP for over $2300 US- then you still have to get the 13kg sucker over here and pay tax on it.
Maybe your talking about the GT42 (std bearing) which I have already mentioned for $1750
Mate, maybe you need to find a new supplier, those prices are current, as of this morning anyway when I ordered a GT35/40 and a GT42 94mm comp wheel 800hp turbo, YOUR prices mayt have gone up 10%, but mine are just fine where they are. Like I said, plain bearing is $1400, ball bearing is $2100. For the 1000hp 102mm comp wheel version, the plain bearing one is the same $1400 and the ball bearing version around $2300-$2400. These are what I sell them at keep in mind, I pay less than that for them again.
I see you've got another BB garret for sale as well, for $1890, I presume then that you are trying to sell a few turbo's here on CT, and your not even a member, seeing as how you seem to be pushing them in a few subtle ways, like stating you can also supply them in sigle entry and have the BB ones for sale as well. Go back to the little bubble you came from and stop trying to carry on like your the god of turbochargers and the cheapest buyer/seller on earth, as quite obviously your not, and making coments like people on here wouldn't be here if they wanted to spend any decent money on their car or a turbo, as you obviously haven't looked around the forum much to see how many people on here have decent cars, I'd say a greater percentage than not do there cars properly, not on the cheap.
I can argue all you want about prices and any other issue you want to pick me on, but I do this sh1t for a living day in day out, I've built over 30 cars, sold a few 100 turbo's and think I've got it all pretty sorted, just don't make presumtions about who I am based on how good you think you are buddy, cuase quite obviously you've got it a little bit wrong.
ANway, back to the original thread, I'll pm you back tomorrow about what I can build for ya SKDMUP, see what I can come up with. Can you pm me some details, even a contact number, will it be stock bottom end?? Need some details dude.
Cheers........................6BOOST
Mate, if you think that housing is Centre tangential, your eyes are painted on. But nice try. No Greddy turbo are CT, nor trust, HKS or garrett GT series. I've sold every single one of them in my time.

And your right, there's no need to diss the 308 shop, they already have a reputation, so people know what they're like... :)
