11-06-05, 22:20 GMT+10#21 i rekon with SCmatty, if u cant drive the speed limit then stay of the road, and if u cant read or write in english thats a big issue, as i got held up with a Japanese Bloke who didnt no were to go and he stoped and just sat there deciding what to do, of course i sat patiently then told the bloke " r u ok " then he started Mumbling then wen it was safe i ***n over took the basterd
and to you VLRED i think u just wasted my time and others go and learn to shvt up

11-06-05, 22:58 GMT+10#22 Mate, you might want to check your own english before criticising others.
eg.
"cought"
"rekon"
"basterd"
"stoped"
"wen"
"stay of the road"
"no were to go"
etc.
If anyone sits on my arse, I normally just take my foot off the accelerator. I do get annoyed when people sit in the right lane doing 20km/h below the speed limit, when this happens you just need to put it in perspective. It will probably only take 3 or 4 minutes off your travel time.

11-06-05, 23:22 GMT+10#23 I agree, you need to relax and stress less. I get impatient occassionally but not to the extreme of swerving and flashing high beams. But back to the main subject, I have had a coppa pull me up and tell me about 5 major things wrong with my car and that he should give me a canary but he liked it and told me to look out for other cops, the next day I got a canary !

12-06-05, 01:25 GMT+10#24 agree with what your all saying but guys dont forget if everyone a freeway is doing 95-100 and sumones doing 80 they could potentially create troublle, no problems with travelling under the speed limit but consider the speed your goin 80 opposed to 100 is quite slow and if theres large group of cars catching up to a slower one there will always be ****s changing lanes in the last second so they dont have to slow down.
i live on nepean hwy in a 70km zone and trust me almost everytime i go to turn into my house even tho ive indicated WELL before my house and brake slowly so my brake lights are on for a long time ud be suprised how many fags almost rear end u and wen i do come to a stop waiting for the other lane it turns to kaos cars everywere.
im not promoting swerving by the way, anyway VLHERO u were in a 100 zone? which usually has 3+ lanes why did u need to swerve? why not just change lane its not like u need to see whats in front just whats behind and in ur blind spot

12-06-05, 03:25 GMT+10#26 hi i still agree with vl hero but i dont swerving on the high way but i do get pissed when u try merge on the highway when its a 110 and the car is doing 60 that is dangerous trying to get out and in 60 zones when they sit on 40 or brake hard for no reason and before u say i am sitting to close i have never hit them lol but i always sit on the speed limit if it is 40 or 110 i thought it was ilegal to go to slow on same roads is this true or bull thanx

Yes, As some one said it is a "Speed limit" and not a "speed to go" But there is also a limit on how slow you are going, If you drive too low you become a hazard and will start doing more harm then good. Its the same as going over the limit.
He didn't say it was pissing down rain or it was a dirt road, And hay, he wouldn't be swerving or telling us about it if it was.
sp00nfed - violence should be kept to the ring or the bar on a Saturday night(don't know the difference), I do not indorse violence or participate in unnecessary violence.
vlred - Its a web site not a enlish test, If you can make out what there saying with out getting out the ingrish dictionary i don't see the problem..
Thank you.

12-06-05, 09:23 GMT+10#29 i just found it slightly hypocritical that he was belittling someone else for their lack of english skills, whilst obviously lacking himself.

Oh I see, so one head wanted to overtake on the left and the other on the right and you ended up swerving left to right cos you couldn't work out which way to go around her?

12-06-05, 14:37 GMT+10#34 I was heading back from work on thurday last week at 6pm. i was doing right on 100km/h just chilling on the way home with pretty banked up traffic. Next thing a hero looked like he was 40 in newish falcon gets right up on my bumber and just stays there for 2km. I couldn't go anywhere due to the traffic. I just ****in hit the brakes as hard as i could. The look on this guys face when he realised i had done it on purpose was priceless. But obviously very stupid and dangerous.
Point of the story, don't tailgate cause you will one day get some pissed of **** who will slam the brakes on and its then your fault if u hit em.

12-06-05, 15:50 GMT+10#35 Eh? If someones tailgating and the person hits the brakes, its the guy tailgatings fault?
Not likely.

12-06-05, 15:51 GMT+10#36 yup, if you hit the back of someone's car you were 'following too close' and hence at fault.

12-06-05, 16:11 GMT+10#38 phone up your insurance company and ask them... or the police.
if you hit someone from behind, it's automatically your fault. they could slam on the brakes to avoid a animal running accross the road or whatever.
