you people never change (most). RCK is open to any commodore, so thats means these VN-VSs with open wheelers will show up, and we don't treat thenm any different. have you thought that maybe thats why CT cruises don't even get into double digits?
All these people with speeding fines should know the risks, and apart from that, it was clearly stated on the top of the cruise sheet (cops have the cruise sheet) so one would think they'd have a few radars set up.
There was another high speed chase, funnily enough, he was in a Vr with an open wheeler, but he was told to leave when he was seen drink driving, which is one of very few rules the club has. Too bad he got away, cop was right on his arse the length of the expressway, then we saw him drive past one of the last stops. anyway, next time anyone see's him, i'm sure the cops will get a call.

Well, ive been on several of these cruises!!!!! Its the same every single time...Idiots behaving like idiots. As far as CT cruises not reaching double digits, i'd rather cruise with 3 nice VLTs than 50 piece of **** VN V6s that just attract unwanted attention from the cops and create this stereotype image of HOON DRIVERS the rest of us with modified cars have to live with.
If you are set on doing the right thing and changing the reputation the club has, how about changing the name of the club? That might be a starting point in turning the reputation around.

id like to go on one of these cruises, but in a bog stock commodre so the coppas couldnt hassle me. getting defected and having to sort out ur car for the epa is a major fu ck around and waste of money
its only good to go on rck if u want to see drunk noobs,drivin pieces of ****.give me CALAISTURBO cruises any day of the week over RCK.And its not the best spot to meet for RCK cruises its out of the way for alot of people,and usually head even further out of the way,they need to change the area's they go every now and then.
OH AND I AGREE WITH PLATNUM,IT WAS AROUND THE 20 MARK LAST TIME AND WE ONLY HAD 1 **** HEAD ON THE CRUISE AND WAS VERY ENJOYABLE.

To be totally honest rck has a bad rap because of a select few hoons that do make it bad for the rest. as for being the fastest car there is always someone faster than u. My car is by no means fast but it isnt exactly slow either. To beat revvn8 (inj304, modified kas auto, kas 3.9diff big cam head work etc) on low boost wid my old turbo back on i though was a desent effort. but thats beside the point, i enjoy just going on any car cruise and cing whats happenin, i dont care what other ppl drive coz my car isnt exactly a show pony!!
That wasn't a stab at your car NTMID8, as my car is slower than both yours and revvns.
You all obviously don't understand what is involved in running a club. time and time again we tell these fools (the burnout kings in there open wheelers) that RCK is not about burnouts, its about cruising, and always has been. Sure once upon a time 90% of the people would do burnouts, but times have changed.
People like some on here are the one continually giving RCK a bad name. I could spend 30 minutes out of my day, and CT would be the most targeted group going around. But thats not the way i am.
Wyndup - The rep now is far better than it has ever been, then some keyboard warriors on a forum ruin it again. with the name, its always been that, for 5 years, how is that name changing going to help with the clubs rep? what about commodore crazy club from a few years ago, they used to be the biggest club around, even with that name.
About the drunk drivers, RCK has never allowed drunk, or drinking drivers on our cruises, so your suggesting if someone drunk turns up to the CT cruise, and CT get a bar rep from it, you'd be over the moon, didn't think so.
SPRIGZY - nearly every cruise has a section from each direction (North south etc) to accomodate for all members. you mustn't have been on a cruise for a few years.
You winge about RCK bringing in the hon laws, but yet someone not on the cruise brags about driving at over double the speed limit, and has nothing to do with it. If any of you have actually been on an RCK cruise, its not the members doing the stupid things, rather the tag alongs. I might tag along to a CT cruise, and go nuts, then show you's what tag alongs can do to a clubs rep!
STEALTHY,(ROONEY),im one of goldners and brad's mates i used to go on i them all the time un till i got sick of certain people that attend,because all they want to do is cause fights,and think they are above everyone else,and these are the sought of people giving RCK a bad rap.get rid of these people and it wouldn't be soo bad.and the last one i attended would have been in the last 3 months,and never once on about the 10 or so RCK cruises i went on did we cum back south way.
car clubs and there cruises cant cater for everyone, some live south some north etc etc by going on the cruise u need to just except where they have organised to go and be happy wid it if u dont like it simple sollution is DONT GO. ive been on a variety of cruises (MCK, RCK, CT etc etc) and really its very rare that the members are being overly stupid... in saying so all cruises i go on i will admit that i drag, will chuck a quick burnout as i leave the lights, but there is a time and a place, and the majority of the trouble starts when u arrive at ur destination and ppl come tearing in doing burnouts revving the sh!t out of there cars "look at me m8 shes fully sik pssshhhht pssssshhhht" etc i dont think any1 has the right to bag anyone elses car club coz u cant be responsible for every idiot that rocks up. Take the last ct cruise for example we all remember UDL guy and his car full of his "full siok chiks le" noone wanted him on the cruise coz he was obviously drunk and was acting like a d!ckhead. point being dont bag a club coz of a small group of adolence idiots

I know exactly who you are Tyson, and have for a while. Check out the RCK forum, and see numerous threads about places to go/stop, as i'm sick of going to the same place every cruise. Cruise just gone on the weekend, 3 stops, Nourlunga, Firle, and Woodcroft. Now i'm not a southy, but i'm pretty sure 2 of them are south.
Anyway, i'd have to agree with all of NTMID8s post on the first page (post 29)
