13-06-05, 22:18 GMT+10#27 definitely original. Rear mapron is VL LE with another bit added to the bottom. Original one pice letter box grille, Series II Aero's, Scheel Interior. Genuine article VL Group 3.
They were Berlina based and brock put the Calais front ends on them.

How can you compare an ugly boat like the vn grp a to a blue meanie!

14-06-05, 09:35 GMT+10#29 The VN Grp. A was the last homolgation special race car ever made by Ford or Holden in Australia... I think they're tops. I'd hardly call them an ugly boat, either.

24-06-05, 20:37 GMT+10#38 just a quick question.
the 4th one from the left has a bonnet scoop but the rest dont is this factory??
and why dont the rest have it??

24-06-05, 22:50 GMT+10#39 It would be possible that the one with the Bonnet Scoop might just happen to be a rare VK SS Group A/3 and as it was optional on the Group 3 models it would stand to reason that the Group A/3 model had the option as well.

25-06-05, 18:53 GMT+10#40 the two middle cars are in fact Group A/Group 3's, hence the bonnet scoop. Group 3 exterior and interior with Group A mechanical package.
As for the SL Group A, they did have optional scheel interior, but were mainly SL interior's. They were another "ADP" basically. We filmed two of them for the Brock commodores DVD. They were available in Red, Alpine White, Walton's Blue and Asteroid Silver.
