alpine 4 inch $99 s type go hard

does the alpine fit in the stock position without any mods?

I had a pair of Earthquake 4" mids in the standard VL mounts, and Earthquake Screamers mounted on the dash (screamers are 2" supertweeters) That sounded ok.. was a bit too bright perhaps, but if you want to be loud and obnoxious then they are the way to go... running off the head unit they managed to force me out of the car....

i have infinity 4ins cost 190 but dam clear as.. beautiful sound..

i dont see why everyone goes for 4" speakers.. just cut a hole... if you want good clear sound, get some balls, cut a hole and use 6" or 6.5" splits.. just ordered my set of Soundstream 6.5" splits... $450.. but LOUD. CLEAR. and most of all.. Quality

Don't cut a hole. Just get some pods and stick them in there.

i was going to cut a hole in my door but then was told id be crazy to do that as the baige calais interior is well sort after and it would wreck it and i got scared lol. so i just wacked 4 inch Kenwoods into the standard place.

get kicker 4 inch splits they are good

DO the kicker splits fit without mods and how much and where did you get them?

kicker ones just bolt straight in old mount and got a detachable tweeter . so u can make the wire longer and put them near ur ears more . that what my mates do ... sound Great!! Some original photos have not been recovered yet.

DDDrive series alpine, quite exxy but for the alpine flagship speaker its well worth it, unblvable crisp clear bass. coaxials DLS-104A or components DLC-106A. u won't b dissapointed!

i got a pair of VDO SSP1021, havnt got em in mi car yet, but mate said there real good for little 4 inchs, not to expensive either. they sounded good enough in his vn (now stolen)

i have a set of rockford fosgate 100W RMS 4's brand new, sitting in my room....but the magnets are pretty big so they dont fit in the dash.. :S maybe i should sell them?

what do you mean? they are 4 inch rockford fosgates, they make 100W rms, which is a heap for a 4 inch speaker!
