Meh I say the XR8s are better. If Holden bring out another Turbo commie that will give Ford something to think about.

anyone who buys a MK1 of any new design with heaps of power deserves these problems. any smart person would wait till another series comes out when all the problems are eradicated.

my brother has just bought a MK2 6 Speed XR6T... everyone judges a car on the worst of the bunch.. like whoever it was above bagging LS1s.. some had problems so they are all **** heaps.. the only problem i have had with mine was killing the auto cos of 240rwkw and really hard shifting.. i have got a few mates with XR6T's and they all love them, my brother is loving his, although it is booked into APS for a heap of work (he doesnt want his little brother (me) having more power than him) he loves it. definatly worth the wait for the MK2, at least they got a decent box

For a brand new Ford to cost $40K plus and have problems is a concern, especially if its been in the workshop numerous times, suffice to say its also the way the person drives the car too and yes it happens to all new cars from time to time but i would expect it from your little 4r banger rice boxes such a huyundai etc that cost $15K new, not a locally built car thats nearly 3 times the price! This is not the first time that Ford has had problems with their new cars............we all now that. Im not a Ford hater, in fact they are a great car i beleive but if your going to pay good money you expect your moneys woth. As they say you get what you pay for.

Meh, i like the look of the BA falcon, but from AFTER the true muscle cars (XD onwards) to the AU they're ALL sh*t looking lol. Although I would much prefer a Super Pursuit over any HSV/Holden ute anyday!

This is a minority. It's not something that happens to every second car driver. Obviously this guy.. RACE1 is his number plate, respects his car and drives them like a normal family passenger vehicle. It's just a crock. I dont really give a **** bout holden vs ford either its a bit of FUN but ford were too stupid to put a decent diff behind thier our turbo is the biggest but unreliable heap so suck sh*t they can cop some sh*t just like bextor84 who offers to buy everyone buttplugs cause he probably thinks thier great.
