10-02-05, 22:45 GMT+10#21 Hey to get the right shade of blue, do I just take the head rest and show it to them? I just have to spray the rear of the head rests and the top of the back seat. This is the type of blue I need.
Would it be the Blue Jay item#SS3801201M can?

No problems man, your a legend hehe, I've been meaning to do this or replace the material just didn't know which way to go but this way is a lot easier and cheaper. At the moment it looks pretty crap, from behind, it's all purple, I'll post some pics tonight or tomorrow.

25-04-05, 23:44 GMT+10#31 Hey,
i've been doing a colour change, from grey to blue,
you need a lot of cans. Ive used four and so far all ove done are the rear seats. So thats $40 just for the rear seats. Probably need 6 cans for the two front seats...
then you have door trims, glove box, roof lining etc if u wanna do that...
gets expensive,
looks good though

26-04-05, 18:54 GMT+10#32 does it dry hard at all or does the material still feel soft?

26-04-05, 20:46 GMT+10#33 doesnt dry hard at all... feels just like before! I would imagine you would need about 12 cans to do the whole interior though... i wonder if its worth it

26-04-05, 23:56 GMT+10#34 when changing colours is it possible to go from a dark colour to light one without wrecking the feel of the seat?

i just chose the colour that was closest to my original colour
you could always test it somewhere small and inconspicuous? or on some other material? let us know how you go.

22-07-05, 18:36 GMT+10#40 hmm, interesting product
It appears to be an air curing dye (ie it adsorbs into the fibres as opposed to a paint which would sit on the surface).
It'll be interesting to see how UV tolerant it is.
