I agree exactly, I got my tattoo for a reason, not just to be "cool" the day before i turned 16, its been about 9 months and i dont regret it yet... mine also isnt celtic, its kanji writing, 3 letters, covered by a shirt, its at the top of my arm

I have got Ned kelly tatood on my shoulder. And I have never once regretted it. I also have an Aussi flag tatto'd on the back of my leg. Figured if I was gonna get tatoo's I would be a little patriotic. I think the leg hurt more than the shoulder. It all still hurts though. Very very addictive. All you will want is more tatoos after gettting one.

Went to the pub last night with a few mates. Actually didn't feel 100% sure while driving home about it. I still want it but figured i want to be 100% sure before i do so without any change of heart. So i decided not to get it today, ive got the picture hanging up on my wall. If i still like it after 6 months i will get it but thought it would be wise to see how much i like it after 6 months of looking at it.

dragme you still keen on this or what? had one of mine for 6 years and the other for 2 and i still love them! cant really post pics of one cause its a bit discreet , but i say if you have wanted one for a while go for it! the whole argument is around age, choice etc, only you can make the desision that suits you! have fun with it! and depending on where it is, it doesnt really hurt Some original photos have not been recovered yet.
