OK spigot bush went in and like i suspected it contracted as it went in, just gonna drill it out a bit, is the internal diameter critical?

I still don't understand why you girls had problems?? I have made spigot bushes and all you do is run about 0.0015" interference fit and make the hole 0.0035" - 0.004" larger than the shaft. That way when you knock it in (with a tool that has a shaft size the same as the gearbox shaft) the tool comes out and you have 0.002" clearance between the spigot and the gearbox input shaft. Thats exactly how nissan do it too. Anyway, its in now and the extra clearance won't make f-all difference.
