And does any1 know what the limits/safe limits of the standard rods shot peened & balanced are? good 4 you mate what kinda times r u chasing? and do you have a huge turbo for which the extra reving head will be handy 4 the lag?

who knows what stock gear can handle these days, its too inconsistent to judge. For example Rob vickerys TTV8 had group A rods (basically just factory rods) and obviously made 1078rwhp... but im sure some ppl on a lot more milder combos have bent the rods. The h-beams are conservatively rated to 800hp, the trade off is the they weight nearly 700grams which is heavy for a conrod

why do u have to machine the rod big end sides to fit through the bore? This part of the rod never enters the bore at all.

And you point is?? I think you have your wires a bit crossed mate, he's talking about one of my manifolds and i have no idea why he posted it here, had nothing to do with friggen rods. And no need to be a wanker with comments like "i speak on all topics not just where i have something to gain", get over yourself mate, your not god, maybe you should use your search button and have a look at what posts I actually make before such comments. I though this petty crap had ended in your first posts like this, some things never change though I guess. For the record, Hi Octane sells the rods for $1300, and "Spoolin" on here can get H beam drop ins for RB30 for $1200, his number is [phone removed]. 6BOOST

I enquired about some Argo's a few weeks back, $1980 + gst. Off the shelf with a choice of 21 or 22mm small ends. Whats ppl's opinions on argo's???

probably the best rods you can buy for the price, the you go to carillo's which are like 3k!
