Quote: Im going to change the clutch fan AGAIn coz i just realised wen i turn the car off fan still spins and stops slowly instead of stopping suddenly? It is normal for the fan to spin freely if when you turn the car off it its cool enough. The fan only engages when it needs to. When you start the car from cold the fan should be engaged and when it heats up enough it will disengage and engage again when its too hot, so turing the car off at that stage the fan will stop slowly . Quote: also i know the car is running hot coz of the motor itself. So how are you checking the actual temp of the engine?? Are you using just the factory gauge or a aftermarket one? What I would be doing is going down to your local radiator place and getting them to check exactly what temp its running at when you think its running hot, shoudn't cost you anything to do that, then you know for sure what the temp is. When I had the same problem thats what I did and found my temp gauge sender was no good.

yes there is a diff between turbo and n/a radiator turbo=3core n/a=2core, the only thing u havnt dun is bled the head, if u have a standard plenum on top of it u will c a little 10mm bolt with a little sign in front it saying do NOT open wen hot, flush ur radiator again, fill it up with coolant and water again to the top of radiator, dnt close the cap yet, turn car on and open that bolt, water will come out, now u watch on top of the cap the air bubbles come out, keep topping up the water to the top, wen u see mosst of the buubles gone close the bolt tight, go for a drive and c hoe it goes then check if it needs water. To make sure that there no bubbles wat so ever when u turn ur car on turn the heater on so that everthing gets filled up with water

The only NA's that may have come with a 2 core radiator would be the models without Aircon. Mick

I have had a NA VL which had aircon and the 2 Row radiator and in my calais Turbo i have the 3 row turbo radiator. there is a difference between both i found this out when i had my heating problem turned out to be the clutch on the clutch fan. ALSO a prob i heard might be a long shot but if u had thermo fans make sure there spinning the right way.
