Has an article in Wheels and Holden will be turbocharging the V6, which they are saying will be more powerful than the XR6T

WE all know that the XR6T is a lot faster, but we're discussing the,
BA XR6 (NON TURBO) Vs VZ 190kw SV6.

sorry guyz, didnt notice you were talking about the n/a,
this is very slightly off topic but i found an article in SM march about the new corvette and its engine, the reason this is relevent to this topic is because it says the engine will be going into commodores too and maybe as soon as the vz. The engine is a 6litre v8, it outputs 300kw at 6500rpm, static compression is 10.9:1, thats all the info it gives. In an older post i mentioned this engine and said its called ls2, this was incorrect, all the article says is its been dubbed the ls2.
btw the corvette lookz really nice!

have you considered counting max torque, im pretty sure this would make a difference and ford 6's are known for their torque

Going by the latest issue of MOTOR MAGAZINE, the new Holden SV6 does.
15.34 down the 1/4 to the BA XR6(N/A) 15.86, but it does say the ford recorded that time with an auto, so it would be about even if they had used a manual too.
The Fords are a good car, but they need to go on a diet!!
The XR6 weighs 1672kg, to the SV6 1592kg.
